what do you think? we are having a second wedding, formal attire, but no attendants, and very simple reception with finger foods… my groom wants piano player and I thought a music CD that I made would be enough…

I think you’d be better off with a CD, especially if you’re not feeding your guests a full meal–if you hire a piano player (which can get pricey), guests will think that’s where all the money went.

the piano player is a friend of my fiance and is not charging us.

I think either would be okay. Piano fits the “formal” bill but a CD would work fine too. Any reason you don’t want a piano player?

First I think I will miss the words of the songs.
And I am afraid he (being human) might not show (illness, etc.) and then what?! or what if HE thinks he is good but I don’t. I have never heard him and my fiance says I will like him and I dont need to hear him. Well I finally just let it go and agreed.
But I am planning to make a CD…just in case something happens. If the piano player works out, then at least I can say that I comprimised. 🙂
