I suggest going to some videographer websites and watching as many wedding video samples as you can stand! These can give you an idea of what you like and how they can be used in videos. Here’s two that I really like:

The song is Hometown Glory by Adele

The song is Use Somebody by Kings of Leon

How about Hippola by Sigur Ros?

All the best, Jennie x

our videographer gave us a list of suggested songs, did your people give you any guidance? we gave them 3 choices of songs for each section and they chose the most appropriate that worked with what they had. i would agree also with PP who suggested watching different videos our has a “screening room” at http://www.blueskyfilms.com/weddings/screening-room.html

a few of our songs:

Can’t Help Falling in Love, Vitamin Strings (slower for pre-ceremony highlight and my entrance)

Rhythm of Love, Plain White Ts (upbeat for “kiss highlight”)

Raise Your Glass, Pink (upbeat for “fast dance highlight”)

The Luckiest, Ben Folds  (mellow for “slow dance highlight”)

All I Want Is You, U2 (mellow for overall wedding hightlights)
