Ok, so my reception is going to be held at the church’s reception hall, therefore, there will be no dancing 🙁 and no need to hire a DJ. So here comes the question, I want some music to be playing in the background… the music can be secular, but must have clean lyrics with no profanity.
Anyone got any suggestions for some must have songs that should be included on reception mix/ background music.

Try your iTunes radio music, there are such beautiful things under Ambient listing, some of my favorites are: SmoothLounge and All Chill, lots of the great music does not even have lyrics…

The playlist I put together might give you some ideas? Just click "Pop-Out Player" to pop out the player to another page, so you can listen to it while perusing other things online!
(I should explain the first four songs will be played for the wedding party/bridal march, during our ceremony, and recessional, and then it turns to music played during our cocktail hour, reception, etc.)

Music in foreign languages- guarantee no one will be offended. French is always pretty and they have lots of it on itunes!
