FH and I are huge tv dorks, so of course we watched the potential series finale of Scrubs last week. I have always loved the music selection on that show, but last week they really got me. At the end of the show, they played the song "Book of Love" covered by Peter Gabriel, and I just… lost it. I was a big puddle of tears by the end of the song, much to FH’s amusement :).
We had already chosen much of our music already, but I knew I had to find a spot for the song, so I switched out a Coldplay tune that I had planned for the "longest married" dance (I’m not sure if it has an official name).
What random music inspiration have you gotten? Did you change any of the music you originally planned in favor something else?

I was having a Catholic Ceremony, very traditional, but when I found out that they allow secular music I incorporated songs from the Pride and Prejudice movie. I even bought the sheet music for the musician supplied by the church.

OMG, thank you so much for finding that song from the Scrubs finale! I really loved that song too, and had been meaning to try to figure out who it was by!
As a side note, didn’t that feel more like a series finale than a season finale? I really hope they continue the show, it’s one of my favs, but if not, that was a pretty perfect end. Showing them getting married and Elliot pregnant made me cry too!
