I need help on this… I’ve been writing and rewriting a playlist for months!
It seems every song I or Mr. Holiday likes, is kind of dark. I’m trying to come up with fun songs for the reception that are a little more “romantic” and I’m just failing!
What should I do? Should we just say “puck it” and go with what we like…what is that going to do to the reception?
The dance floor is in another room (club room) we are making it like a night club in one end of the venue and it’s going to be awesome but I can’t get my head wrapped around the darn music!
Is it ok to have somewhat “depressing” lyrics? One of the songs i’m obsessed with right now is “Just Breathe” by Pearl Jam but that is not a very uplifting song when you listen to the lyrics! His is Cupid Shuffle lol not sure why and he isn’t either.
We <3 Alternative and rock and not really into the shuppy stuff unless it’s like Etta James (which we will have that type of music for the first hour)
