happy new year Mrs. AM

i’m a round hill bride too (9/21/12) and our biggest concern for our dj search was definitelly getting someone who’s worked at round hill before since the dance floor is separate from the dining room. we needed to make sure whoever we hired had dealt with that challenge succesfully in the past. we ended up booking A Perfect Blend and we love them.

they really clicked with us and even worked with us on their price since we’re currently treating our pooch for cancer. they’re also SUPER organized and have a whole online system to help you plan out your day – they really are like all around planners.

anyways, we’re uber pleased with them, but as long as whoever you pick is able to get people going through those doors and dancing you should be fine!

are you going to Bride Day this month??

Any ideas on what A Perfect Blend’s rates are/other DJs in the area? Fiance and I are just beginning to plan and are curious what we should expect to budget for a DJ.

Thanks 🙂

Hi Bees! I stumbled across your posting and I just wanted to second A Perfect Blend for your Round Hill wedding. My husband and I got married at Round Hill Sept 2011 and David was phenomenal to work with.

We are both Latino (I’m Dominican and Puerto Rican, hubby is Dominican) and finding a DJ who could play Spanish music (merengue, salsa, bachata, tipico, etc) was incredibly important to us. They knew just the right music to play to get everyone on the dance floor and knew how to keep everyone involved regardless of where they were (which was often at the bar =)

David was not only organized, incredibly upbeat and friendly, but also willing to go above and beyond for us (if he saw me without a drink in my hand the night of the wedding, he would rush over and personally get me one). He also had fantastic ideas to make our wedding unique and personal (if he’s told you the concept of the love story, then you’ve heard ours)! You can’t go wrong with A Perfect Blend; their online tools, services, and professionalism are well worth the price.

If you have any other Round Hill questions, feel free to PM me. Good luck ladies!

I saw MSV at a bridal show and both me and my fiancee were liked their energy. We want a party! Then I started following their dj’s online and I was soooo disappointed in them. They are totally disgusting. Look at this. Their dj Nick Brown wrote this about his act. “f%$k s%$t up..spray liquor on people…take shots, go ham onstage and do wild s%$t”. I found that here. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152983527283066 To be fair he says that’s his spring break act and then he cleans up his act for his weddings. But I would never want Music Speaks Volumes at my wedding. My fiancee’s family would not go for that and neither would mine.
