I’m trying to put together a list of preferred songs for my DJ to play at the wedding. I want a good mix of current top 40 music to please the younger crowd, but also some good classic dance songs that the parents can also dance too. Many of them are really into ballroom dancing too…any suggestions on good songs to please everyone???

Ballroom dancing??
Well I don’t know about that but some nice artists are Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, James Brown. For the ballroom dancers, maybe you can find instrumental (maybe a quartet) versions of songs that you and your fiance like, for example: my fiance and I really like weezer, we looked up weezer on iTunes and found a bunch of their songs played by a quartet, it sounds really cool, but with an added touch of classy since it’s done on strings.
Just a thought! -Laura

disco and motown is actually very popular for all ages! songs like sweet caroline, brown eyed girl are also always big hits.
