Okay… so next year I am buying candy that I hate (lemon drops are the only ones that come to mind) and not opening the bag until Halloween night just to be on the safe side.
We bought a giant bag of assorted tootsie rolls this year and the bag is almost all gone… I can only imagine what the scale is going to scream at me when I get to the gym this afternoon.. Plus now i have to buy more candy that will probably mean leftovers :/

ROFL! I just bought a huge mix bag of tootsie rolls last Friday and they are almost gone! I seriously don’t remember eating all of them and I know it wasn’t Mr. M. because dons’t even like them…. Time to blame the dogs.

My Fiance and I made a pact not to open any of the stuff we bought until the first kid comes to the door. So far, so good!

I know, I hate it! I like to buy my candy early to get the good selection. If you wait till the day before Halloween (to avoid temptation), the selection is all picked over. If you buy too early, it’s bad news!

I had this problem last year. I promised myself that this year I would wait until October 30 to buy Halloween candy. I just hope I don’t go crazy on it Saturday night!

lol i totally bought 2 bags of candy for trick or treaters at the grocery on Monday. I told Fiance not to get into them because they were for the weekend. Then yesterday I TOTALLY failed and ate like 6 things. Then I had to fess up to Fiance that I’d already busted into them and he could too if he wanted haha. Oh well.

My husband bought a BIG bag of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups & Kit Kats for himself, in addition to the candy for trick-or-treaters. He works out all the time but has a huge sweet tooth.

I haven’t bought our candy yet! I am going to probably buy it on Friday or Saturday and then will bring the leftovers to workon Monday. If I had it in myself I wouldn’t be able to stop eating it.

I’ve been pretty good actually, we’ve had an open box of chocolates here for a week or so and I think I’ve only had 2 pieces. I’m impressed at my will power, I totally thought I would have eaten the whole thing by now haha.

I’ve had so many tootsie rolls my stomach hurts :/ This morning I caught my daughter with a chair pushed up against the counter picking through the candy as well! Like mother like daughter I guess… lol but at least nobody puts me in time out for stealing the candy 😉

I literally read this thread while eating a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup. I’m in trouble! Darling Husband bought TWO bags of them, plus TWO bags of M&Ms. There is 1-1/4 bags of M&Ms left. All the Reese’s are now officially gone. Sigh. Guess who’s buying more candy this week?

Haha, I can relate! People won’t stop bringing it into work (I’m also guilty for that). Today I’ve had a Butterfinger and an Aero!

We bought ours and it’s stashed in the trunk of my husband’s car with strict instructions not to let me have it. He’s gone to Vegas for a stag until Friday, and parked it at a friend’s house, so no temptation too easily accessible.
