Thank you honestly if we broke everything up and told you what I spent on each thing people would be blown away. I cant believe I did it. My mom told me the other day that I should be a budget bride wedding planner because of how awesome everything turned out. We arent going to have a fancy caterered feast but we will have yummy italion beef and pasta, our plates are going to be smarty had a party plastic plates, and our booze will only be consumed on a beer wine soda basis…whoop. Im super excited. And after all that we get a free meeting room at the hotel to have an after party until 2am and free accomadations the night of for me and hubby. We did a lot of planning early because that is what turns out the best deals.

@allyfally: That is really good as well. When I first got on here I stalked everyones budget recap and said that a 10K budget was impossible and everyone told me to trim my guestlist. I really did try and then one night my FI went to take one of my best friends from highschool and I kind of lost it…we were at like 86 trying to get down to 70…and I was just depressed. I decided to have a nice party and just leave out the more unneccesary things. I wish I didnt have such a ginormous family (well fI mostly)

@Waitingbee57: Me and my FI are lucky because we both have really small families. I’d be freaking out if I had tons of family I had to invite.

@allyfally: our guest list when we first started planning was some outrageous number over 250 I said..NO! Now we cut it down. We are inviting 189 people I have 2 budgets worked out…One for 160 and one for 180 the only difference in 160 is it comes out to 8.5K or something a little higher.

Waitingbee57: That is awesome!!!!! Waaay to go! We’re on a shoestring of 6K and it will be a tight ship to keep it under that number, so we shall see… Congrats on the awesome budgeting! Keep it up in life and it’ll amazing what you can accomplish!
