There is recent discussion about spending/regrets for weddings. Want to share my dress bought brand new at Davids Bridal for $120. Its the perfect fit for our small outdoor July wedding.
I also snagged 2 bridesmaid dresses for our daughters – total cost including my dress and tax was $288!
The one Im wearing in this pic is a size too small so the one I ordered will fit better. It fit well aside from the straps being a little too long so that will be a minor tailoring cost… I may just do it myself since Im handy with sewing.
Also definitely go try on dresses in person! The online model is skinny and Im very curvy/top heavy so it looks totally different. Tons of great cheap online dresses but since I have weird proportions I went the safe route and shopped in person

CUTE! I love the lace. I wore a short dress too and it was the best call ever 😀

So cute! It’s ridiculous how expensive wedding dresses can be, I ended up buying mine off the rack during a sale day but it was still expensive. I love the lace on your dress!

manylovesbee1 : Thanks! I was worried it was too “informal” looking but we will be married at a lake in July (HOT!) and my Fiance is doing dress pants, button down collar shirt, and vest so I think it will work and I wont sweat my butt off lol
spallas14 : Thanks! We just do the best we can right? There was a gorgeous (over the top for my wedding) dress I loved for $549 and it was definitely tempting me LOL. That one would have needed lots of tailoring too though so I nixed it.

missmollybee : Thanks! I know I definitely need a good necklace but Im terrible with that stuff. Luckily a friend who is a very talented professional is doing my hair and airbrush makeup for really cheap so i may pull off looking put together after all! LOL

mel2 : That’s awesome! You can dress that up really nicely with some heels, jewelry and your hair & M/U. I think it’ll be a great look!

I’m so glad you found an affordable one that you love and is so beautiful! My dress was $208, and I’m so glad I don’t have to regret the price– because I sure would!
