I’m 14 years older than my youngest sister and 17 years older than my brother. I can’t sympathize yet, but it’s crazy how fast they grow up! I always joke to my mom that Fiance and I are going to just “happen” to show up wherever they have their dates just to be obnoxious. πŸ™‚ It’ll be so weird!

My younger sister is 13, and I was almost 13 when she was born.  I totally understand the Mom, Jr. thing.  She had her first boyfriend(s) this year, and I agree that it makes me feel REALLY old.  But, since she had three older sisters, she’s definately been hearing about boyfriends for years, so it’s just payback for us to have to hear about hers!

She had her first kiss, and it was afterschool but at school.  I was horrified.  I couldn’t believe that my sister was kissing a boy at school!  Luckily, she’s just in 8th grade, so she doesn’t quite have the same feelings that a 15 year old would probably have (judging by how I felt at 15 anyway!).  Good luck, it will get easier!

Aww. This is cute πŸ™‚ My younger brother is only 5 years younger than me, but it felt kinda weird when he was bringing these girls around.

But the thing that got me was my younger cousins! My one cousin just turned 17 (i still can’t believe it) and her sister is 14. They started getting boyfriends and I was all “hellll no” haha. It makes me feel so OLD. I think it’s more so the fact that the 17 year old does NOT look 17. My SO’s brother (who is 24) was like “yeaaa, she’s trouble” and I made a mental note of “Okay, they are NOT meeting haha”

I shouldn’t worry though- both of the girls are fantastic, and they have good morals. But I till kick teeth in if I have to πŸ˜€

My “baby” brother is around 2 years younger and I still grill- or I did until he went off to college. He still tells me stuff but now I just don’t want to hear it. It hasn’t gotten this serious yet, but I reminded him that mom and dad would disown him if he got a girl pregnant (or a tattoo, or a piercing, or arrested for public drunkenness, or even acknowledging that you drink underage…). Apparently his numerous gal-pals like to crash at his room when they’re drunk? Not sure I like that…

Aw! I can kind of sympathize! SO has a 15 year old little sister. An almost 10 year age difference with them. We’ve seen her change so much this school year..her freshman year. She got her first boyfriend, first kiss & she’s starting to act all teenagery…like she knows everything & everything embarrasses her! It makes me want to apologize to my mom regularly for how I acted as a teen πŸ˜‰

Ahh! My little sister just turned 16 (we’re 11 years apart as well), but she has not had a boyfriend yet. I’d be freaking! I can’t believe she’s driving! Time really does fly.
