Need some other opinions. I always thought I would wear a white dress until I found Dress #2.
Dress 1 (White): is a dress that I really liked when I saw it and tried it on and ordered it the same day which didn’t take me too long to decide on it. I was going to alter it to look more like a mermaid style.
Dress 2 (Ivory): I absolutely love this dress and has everything I’ve been looking for. The style and cut of the dress, has enough detail on it that I wanted including the buttons on the back. But it is 1-2 sizes smaller and was going to get it altered after I loose more weight. The only issue is the bust area so I should say the top area. I am taking the bows off to show more or the detail in the front. I’m just starting to worry about alterations and the cost.
A little help……should I just bite the cost and get Dress 2 altered to fit me?

to be honest, i dont like the second dress. The first dress on the other hand…is amazing! keep the first and leave the second and never look back

I love #1 on your body more (it makes your waist look so tiny) plus i think you look more of a bride in it vs #2 where you kind of look like you might be trying a little…hard

I like the first one (the top one). I would be really apprehensive about getting a dress that you have to lose weight to fit (what if you don’t?), but either way I like the top one better. It fits you beautifully.

I agree, I like the top picture a lot more because its more bridal and looks like it fits you better. Buying a dress and hoping to loose weight is dangerous.
If one of the things you really like about dress #2 is the buttons then you should see if you can have buttons put on the back of your other dress.

I like the first one, BUT I’m not the one who will be wearing it. My experience with the wedding stuff is once you find the option that fits you perfectly (dress, cake, chairs or otherwise) you will know it.

I like number 1, not carzy about 2.

Honestly, I don’t really care for dress # 2. I think dress # 1 fits you wonderfully! It’s very elegant dress and looks lovely on you!

Dress #1 BY FAR; it’s amazingly flattering and beautiful on you!

Dress number one is a zillion billion times more flattering.

yes, get get dress 2 altered to fit you because dress 1 is too big in the top and it also needs alterations.. so either one, is just a seamstress away..

Thank you all for your comments. I didn’t expect everyone to like dress #1 that much more. It gets here in June so we shall see.

I have to say that pick ups aren’t my favorite style. That being said I voted for dress #1. Your waist looks seriously tiny, and i love the details on top. It is hard for me to picture #2 with the changes you mentioned. But as the dress look in the pics I really think #1 is more flattering on you.

I think that it’s hard to tell at this point. Dress 1’s top is WAY too big on you and not flattering at all and the pickups on the skirt look a little wrecked, so yours will probably have more poof/body to it.
I honestly prefer dress 2, without the bows and obviously FITTING you. It’s a bit too fitted in the tummy right now (could you even sit down??).
I can say that while the first one’s cut makes your waist look tiny, it does NOTHING for your hips. I think that the drop waist looks much better on you than the natural waist.
Just my $0.2 though..you should go with what gives you goosebumps 😉

I like the first one. It’s simple, beautiful and not distracting.
