So i ordered my first dress from a bridal salon, which was still inexpensive because it was a bridesmaid dress. But the lady i was working with measured me at a size 8 (I’m a very consistant size 2), but i trusted her because she worked at a bridal salon! I get my dress in, which i love, but its HUGE. It wont even stay on my body without clips. They wouldnt let me return it, and it coukd be altered but my seamstress said it would be close.lol
..so after black friday, davids bridal had a 50% sale and they had a dress for $50. I ordered it in my size because theres not much to lose and i got it shipped to my house for $52!
I love it and im so excited! It just has to be taken in a tiny bit and is the absolute perfect beach wedding dress for me!
Now im trying to decide whether or not i should add straps.
Post your beach wedding dress!!

What a steal! Congrats on the beautiful dress!

Love the flowy material of the second dress and the sheer overlay; what a great price too! Good bargain shopping 🙂

I don’t think you need straps for either of them, your shoulders are beautiful so I wouldn’t add anything to cover them up

Gorgeous!!! Agree with PP, you have beautiful shoulders; rock it strapless!

Wow that’s a great price, especially for such a gorgeous dress!!
FWIW, I think the older dress pales in comparison to the new dress — I absolutely love the sheer overlay and the color!
I wouldn’t add straps to it…you already look perfect in it!

The simplicity of the dress is stunning. I’d be inclined to ditch the straps and go with a “statement” necklace.

Is this the Swiss dot dress? It’s hard to see in the pic! If it is I’m kicking myself as this is my dress too! I could have saved $300 😉

I agree with this advice. No straps and add a statement necklace

thank you all! All you wedding bee girls are so great!
I dont think it is. The original price on the dress was $200 i think. Even if you spent 300 more, thats still an awesome deal! Dresses can get pretty outrageous!

Amazing deal!!! Looks gorgeous on you too. I love how light and flowy it looks. Also I think the V strap thing is awesome and a really neat detail. I would leave it as is.
