Hello lovely Bees,
So after one month of waiting, my Amora gem ring is finally here. Time to share some thoughts (and pics of course!)
Note: I received the ring today when I was at work and then had to go straight from office to dinner, so I didnt get to photograph the AG ring outside in any sunlight – there are ALL indoor photos only.
First impressions: it is a stunning stone – very white, crisp, sparkly! The AG also feels very large on my finger, though 7mm is not huge in these circles, its a little bigger than what I’m used to.
Also – though it doesnt look it in all of these photos – the AG is VERY white. Its so white, I would go as far as to say that it might even lend itself more to CZ than diamond. That is not a bad thing as I really wanted a white stone, but its even whiter than I was expecting!
All in all, it sparkles a lot and throws flashes of light, even in office surroundings. Will provide an update tomorrow when I get to take it out in the sun for another good look.

It’s stunning! I think that size looks great on your finger!

Soooo pretty. It looks big! You must have a tiny finger, lol!

Yes, it looks huge! Its 7mm so equivalent to 1.25ct and my finger is a size 5 so smallish but not tiny. Maybe its the H&A cut and sparkle that makes it look bigger?
Not to worry, I’m sure shrinkage will set in tomorrow……!

It looks AMAZING, I love it. I suspect that the color of the gold is contributing to how white it looks, and I don’t think that’s a bad thing at all!!

@becleeham: B, fantastic choice of ring. Even though it is a simple solitaire, it has unique ness about it: rose gold, wide chunky shank, 4 double prongs and nice cathedral element. I like “white, crisp and sparkly” description of Amora Gem. You waited for it a long time and now it is finally here! It’s fabulous! Very diamond like in the picture. Wear it in good health!
