So, my SO and I have already bought ‘the ring’. I initially loved it, it has a ruby center stone and diamond halo. It is a stunning ring, but the thing with me is I think things over A LOT, and we bought it quite quickly as SO liked it and could no longer take my “honey what about this one? ohh this is nice too! and this!” etc etc. Anyway, fast forward a few months and I decided that I wanted a clear center stone, and after lots of reading, we decided on a Asha diamond for now. I thought I would post up some photos of the loose stone to help other bees in the market.
A little about the stone, it is a F/G colour and matches my diamond F colour halo perfectly. The 8×6 is a 1.25ct equivalant (although the same size stone on moissco states it is 1.5ct). I bought it from Ashadiamonds.com and it came within a week of payment. It does not have a bow-tie effect like a lot of diamond oval owners complain about, and it is flawless and so very sparkly. Some of the pics make it look odd inside, but this is just my camera.
Here a pictures of my current ring and the loose asha. When it is sent be sure of more pics! Asha owners please give me your opinions and tell me how your rings are going!

Stunning stone and setting. Be sure to make something of that beautiful ruby like a RHR or a necklace.
I’ve had my asha for about a year and a half now. It looks brand new like the day it arrived in the mail. I do take it off while doing anything intense like cleaning with chemicals, working out, playing in the pool etc. I clean it about once a week to two weeks with just dish soap, a kids toothbrush (to get in the cracks), and warm to hot water. I love my stone but just remember it’s not a forever stone.

thanks for the info! i was wondering how on earth i will clean the basket setting and totally overlooked a simple toothbrush. definitely aware of it not being a forever stone, but i want to make it last as long as i can none-the-less 🙂
@This Time Round:
i’m leaning more towards a RHR. maybe an intricate solitaire setting. it’s definitely a gorgeous stone so I will make most of my opportunity for a second piece of jewellery hehe

Aww, you’re so sweet! Made me smile. I just spent Xmas (we celebrated early) with a bunch of maniacs, aka SO’s family, so I needed that lol.
