i think you did a wonderful job!  i can’t see anything that needs to be fixed.  as for opacity, i think it would be better if it was a little darker, like maybe try 30 or 40?  its really pale and i think once people start signing, you won’t even know there are pictures under there.   i ordered some parent albums from adoramapix and used some back ground pics and i found it comes up exactly as you see it on the computer.

Looks great!  I did a 10×10 book and still have a lot of empty space (135ish guests) so you may consider downsizing.  I used 40% opacity in mine, I think the 10% will be “barely there”.

I think it’s perfect!!  I love the layout and pictures you choose, especially the first one on the hill and the road for the last page.  The amount of white space looks good too.  Sorry, I have no help for you on the opacity though…

ETA: I agree wiht may downsizing also.  12×12 is a really big book.  I did a 8.5 x 10 with 150 guests.  I only got about 40 signatures (80-100 guests) I think so there was a lot of white space left.  Keep in mind that if you have 150 guests, couples and familise usually sign as 1, so you only need room for maybe 75 signatures.

Opacity should be fine at 10.  Def get the 12×12, you want to show off that photography the best you can.

It is beautiful! I think you need more opacicity – I would set it to 40%. On my monitor you can barely see the picture as is, and if it is not dark enough, it will just look really disjointed. Also, I think you could have either half the size or half the pages – I know that it is a lot of work to redo it, but you have to decide if you are willing to have a half full guest book.

Let us know how it prints – I want to do our wedding album up by Adorama!

I love your guestbook!

I know nothing about these digital guestbook designy things and I don’t know if it matters, but on the cover page on the left hand side (assuming it’s the spine) it looks like it says Ou Wedding Guestbook instead of Our Wedding Guestbook.

ETA: Now it looks perfect! 🙂

@red_pepper_gal:  i did albums by adorama and i thought the quality was great. i wouldn’t categorize it as “professional album”, but it was definitely up there and looked very impressive. our parents loved the albums we got them. my only complaint was that the coloring was a bit off. I didn’t realize how much until i recently printed an 8×10 photo and compared it with the same photo i used on the cover of my adorama album and i can see quite a difference (with the printed photo being more accurate and better i guess with regards to the coloring).

@BlissfulMrs: i wouldn’t worry about white space. if it doesnt get filled up, maybe you can put some scrapbook things from your wedding to fill it after?  or even some guest pics or pro pics that don’t make it into your wedding album. this will be a keepsake for you so you should get the size you want. and i agree with USER876 that you should show off that awesome photography!
