It was AWESOME. Looking back, I had an awesome day that I took the time to enjoy and REALLY soak in! I love my family!
First of all, I took some precaution with me being a big sweaty girl, and packed a big ‘ol fan for the hotel room. The room was cool, and I didn’t become a sweaty mess while getting ready. It also helped that my suite overlooked the gorgous mountains and resort ground. Getting ready was relaxing and sublime.

Picture Time @ Sandia Golf Course:
One last sunset picture before the end of a glorious day. (Well, actually before we turned the lights out and partied down!)
And oh how things will go wrong. People warn you, but sometimes you don’t believe them.
- Rings were lost-FIL ran to WalMart for replacement rings. I love my replacement ring and plan to keep it!
- Ceremony Guitarist wasn’t paying attention and it was silence for wedding party.
- Cake was in shambles. Rum cake with too much alcohol! 🙂 But saved by covering entirely with flowers. BEAUTIFUL.
- DJ played wrong song for father-daughter dance… Oh well!
But OH-SO-MANY things went right! Family and friends and FUN!!!! I even feel bad putting all those mishaps, because now they are only funny stories to tell. Honestly.. I look back and wish I could relive that day. Hiccups and all, it was perfect!
