Hey Jeannine, your dresses are so gorgeous!!!! Your ceremony dress is so unique, I’ve never seen one like it!

I agree with mob3, you could wear your hair to the side, so it’s kinda down but kinda upSmile Do you know if you’ll be wearing hair accessories? I tried my hair on the side with a vintage style side headband and it worked really well together although I’ll probably just have it down (everyone prefers mine down). Go for what you feel comfortable with, I think you have lovely long hair, it’ll look great whatever you do!

Love the dresses. Maybe you could wear it up so that you can emphasis the beautiful dresses.

That Amsale dress is gorgeous and I think a classic french twist/sleek updo would look very elegant with it.

I love both of your dresses! I agree with a PP, the hair up and loose so it still frames your face. I don’t do well with extreme slick styles either, I have a tiny head, LOL.

I totally respect your hair preferences and I am not disregarding them…but I have to say, when I look at both of your lovely gowns AND your lovely hair, the first thought that came to mind was Julia Roberts’ hairstyle at the 2001 Oscars! It’s exactly NOT what you want, but your dresses have such great structural details that I felt a more structural hairstyle would look amazing…and you have the hair and face to pull it off! Just sayin’. πŸ™‚

@Jeannine @ Small Chic: I think that the jewelled headband would go well with the dresses, especially the amsale πŸ™‚ I’d probably go to a bridal store and try some different hair accessories. Take a hair tie with you so you get a rough idea of what your hair looks like up with different combs/tiaras/headbands and then try with your hair down. You could always change into the headband at the reception if you’re unsure if it would work with the veil. I really love your veil, especially the swirls and the flower is so romantic however if you love the headband, go for it πŸ™‚ It’s really good to try on different hair accessories to see what suits you best (apparently I have a tiara head!)
