Here are a couple of bad photos, but I love it! I love how it looks lavender in the low light of my kitchen. I wasn’t looking to buy anything, but I couldn’t pass it up! It’s a half size too big for my left hand ring finger, but it actually seems to fit better than other rings of the same size.
Feel free to share your aquamarines and/or pawn shop finds!

Soooo pretty! I’ve always felt like aquamarine is begging to be set in yellow gold like your ring.

wow! What a great find. That is stunning!! Are you sure it’s aquamarine? I would have guessed maybe a sapphire? It’s absolutely beautiful!

Looks like maybe lab created alexdrite or color change sapphire/garnet/spinel. I have a ring that looks fairly similar with the color change and I don’t believe it’s aquamarine. Either way it’s beautiful! Great find!

Ohhh beautiful! I used to have a really nice lab alexandrite, but I sold it last year. This doesn’t have the same color change properties so I don’t think it’s that. Could be a topaz instead of an aquamarine. Or glass even lol. I think they gave their best guess on the stone. They don’t charge much for gemstones, so this was only $65 (including tax) set in gold. I believe I have an aquamarine stone in a necklace I could compare it to. Here is a photo of it in natural light.
And then just for funzies, here is a ring I had considered at another pawn shop we went to first… my husband says I could go back and buy it, and I’m tempted, it would make a great middle finger ring, but I don’t need it and I was, if anything, looking for an emerald. But it’s so unique and fun!
