Even though we’re getting wed in an art gallery and there are underlying Star Wars themes (we’re geeks!), I knew I’d be getting a Disney wedding gown. We LOVE Disney. He works there; I’m an annual passholder. I had picked out the 2012 Ariel one before I even went and it was the first gown I tried on. Though I tried on 6 other Disney (and non-Dis) dresses, this one sold me once she put the Cathedral, jeweled veil on top. So ladies – try these dresses on with accessories! I didn’t “Say Yes” until the veil.
Here it is in “Diamond White” – aka, Ivory. It’s SO comfortable. This is the sample without any alterations.
Here’s my pictures. Sorry for the smudging and anonymity, but you just never know about snoopster fiances!

Yayyyyy!!! Another bride with Ariel 2!!! You look beautiful! I just tried this dress on Tuesday evening, and I haven’t been able to think about anything else! I love it so much… It’s so nice to finally see it on someone else. For those who are wondering what it might look like on a plus-size bride, here it is on me (ignore the crazy look on my face):

Looks gorgeous on you!!!!!! Love the Star Wars and Disney undertones, weddings are supposed to be about what makes you guys “yous guys” 🙂 I tried on the 2011 Rapunzel just for giggles when I went dress shopping. It was too much for me but fun to try on.

Hooooly moley, that’s a gorgeous dress! It looks fantastic on both of you who’ve posted it, and now I’m thinking I might have to try it on.

Try it! Try it!! It doesn’t look like much on the model wearing it in the photos around the web… but it’s really gorgeous on a “real” person.

Looks great! And I totally echo trying on dresses with accesories. Makes a huge difference.

Ahh I’m also wearing this dress with a strand of pearls very similar to yours..i just love this dress..it is amazing! Do you know what kind of veil you want to wear with it??

Hi I have also just ordered this dress. I’m wearing a 3/4 plain veil with trim. I have chosen a plain veil because, there is already so much detail on the dress. At the end of the day it’s individual choice and it will also depend on how you want to wear your hear. I hope this is helpful. Good luck

Nice! I was debating between getting the Ariel dress and the one i actually bought. I haven’t seen anyone on the boards with pix wearing it. It’s so pretty! (I work for Disney too!) Can’t wait to see how you’re decorating your venue!

I tried on the Ariel dress as well, and loved what it did for my figure! Now it’s the dress I compare all others to in my head. My Future Mother-In-Law was smart enough to take a detail shot of the flower on the hip, you can see the sparkly beads in the center along with the pretty petals and delicate feathers. (Never thought I’d like a dress with feathers, but… I do.)
