@iarebridezilla:  If you do want to put her in outfits that may be easier, Carter’s creepers are super easy since they zip all the way up the front. I know you’re looking to use all the cute ones you already have, though! Evie has bunches of these because she hates when I put clothes over her head.

Though, I don’t see how living in pajamas could be a bad thing.

I live in my jammies as well!

@iarebridezilla:  I dont really see the difference between her mostly wearing her fleece pjs, and babies living in onesies in summer.

@iarebridezilla:  My little girl has that same sleeper. To be honest I don’t actually believe baby’s want to be dressed up. My SO is temporarily a stay at home dad so he puts her in zipper sleepers 24/7 because she is a spotty baby and quite frankly he couldn’t care less about her looking cute in a dress. And yes, it has to be a zipper sleeper because he isn’t dealing with those “stupid” buttons. I dress her up when I go shopping or out to visit people.

@iarebridezilla:  My friend and I were JUST talking about how, now that we have babies, we will NEVER give cute outfits as baby gifts ever again! On an average day, we’re just sitting around the house or going to Target, and I’d never dress my DS up just to lounge and nap all day. PJs all the way!!

If we’re going somewhere special, I’ll make a point to put him in a cute outfit, especially if the person we’re seeing gave us that outfit, and then it quickly goes into the tub in the basement for clothes that he wore and then outgrew. About 50% of the outfits we received went into the tub without a wear because he simply outgrew them before we had a reason/place to wear them.

Just the other night, we put him in his Tuxedo onesie to be babysat by Grandma and Grandpa, because it was literally the last day he would have fit into it and he never had anywhere to wear it.

Don’t have a baby, so can’t really be much help. But I thought I would admit that one New Years Day (and many weekend days where we don’t have anything going on) I spend the entire day in my footed fleece PJs, just like your daughter! It actually makes me really happy. So don’t fret!

@iarebridezilla:  Don’t worry about it.  She looks healthy and happy and cute in her PJs.  Definitely choose your sanity that comes from the easiness of changing her and not having to worry about her ruining a fancy outfit.

I would roll around in pajamas all day if I could, so I wouldn’t feel bad about letting my baby wear them.

If she seems content, that’s all that even matters!

@iarebridezilla:  I don’t have kids, so I can’t contribute much to the advice, but I just have to tell you how much I’ve cracked up laughing at this thread, especially “Where did the puke even come from? How was there so much of it!?!?!?” I do feel bad for you dealing with all the puke and spitup, but love that you seem to still have a sense of humor about it.

And I agree with all the PP’s about wishing I could live in pajamas.. and now I want to go buy myself some adult footie pj’s…

My daughter was born in the fall and wore footie jammies until the spring. Hose little out sits are hard to put on a tiny combative person!

@iarebridezilla:  Adorable!  As we build our LOs wardrobe, I keep saying how we have so many jammies and no “real” clothes. But, might not even be worth it to spring for real clothes until after 0-3 months lol.  If sweats are good enough for me, they’re good enough for baby! Plus, it’s winter – time to hibernate and be cozy!

@iarebridezilla:  Carters.com and macy’s are having a huge sale on baby clothes/sleepers right now just FYI 😉

If we have a girl you can pass on all that cute stuff to me, then you don’t have to feel bad. I’ll meet you halfway! hahahaha
