…and I am an emotional wreck!
Im sitting in our condo right on the beach in Florida and we are gearing up for my baby sisters wedding. Where did the time go?! It feels like just yesterday I’d curl her hair and dress her up in my size Barbie clothes!
Im so proud of her and she truly is my best friend. I hope she always knows how much I love her!

I was a wreck at my brother’s wedding. I had to fight back tears at the rehearsal. I cried taking him breakfast the morning of his wedding (I was in the wedding party and it was the only time I could see him before the ceremony). At the wedding the whole front pew was crying (brides sisters and myself). I then spent the rest of the ceremony not looking at my brother and I got through it. If I caught his eye I was done. He just laughed at me.
Anyway, I feel you. Just try to keep happy thoughts. And good luck with the water works.

I totally get it!
When my little brother got married I cried so hard that the priest had to stop the ceremony for a minute. cough – not my proudest moment – lots of sniffling
In my eyes he’ll always be that little 4 yr old boy following me around. .

I love her fiancé and he is exactly who I would have wanted her to end up with, but man, I’ll always be that protective big sister. We are four years apart. I still think she is 6 years old holding my hand to cross the street. Sigh. She’s smart, funny, and deserves every bit of happiness in the world. I just want time to freeze for a while!

My little sister is getting married in a week and a half…I BAWLED writing the speech I’m giving, and then I BAWLED again reading it over. I’m sure that when I go to make any final touches I will cry again like a baby and I don’t know if I’ll get through it at the wedding! Isn’t it interesting how it makes you feel to have your baby sibling get married?! Who’d have thought it’d be SO emotional!?!
