Just try to salvage the part where everyone is together.  You do not have a gun to anyone’s head (forcing them to be there) and there is no rule for what makes a fun party (ie: everyone spending the night)…. just enjoy the time they choose to spend with you and keep your expectations low.

Why do you think everyone will be bored?  Because they won’t be drinking?

That sounds like a fantastic party, in my opinion.  I bet people will have plenty of fun.  Are they not staying at the hotel because they can’t afford a separate room?  Could you all squeeze into one?

Honestly, you don’t need to drink to have fun!  I’m sure the girls are coming to celebrate you, and you should enjoy that!

Why would it be lame if people don’t drink? I don’t drink, and I don’t get bored because of it.

Honestly sounds nice. I think you need to approach it with positivity or it really WILL suck. For everyone involved.

You may get irritated, but perhaps others won’t.  They may be able to have a glass of wine or two before switching over to water or soda.

I understand you are upset at a lower turnout, but at least these women want to be there for you on your special night out.

This sounds like a fun girls out to me.  Shitfaced does not a party make.

@coffeegal85:  I’ve had to be the Dirty Delete at a bachelorette party and had SO much fun!  It was fun just being with the bride to be – buying her drinks and enjoy the company of the other girls.

Some people want a more wild party!  I would never judge someone for wanting a more tame one…let’s not to the reverse!

@coffeegal85:  I can understand.  I can’t stand it when people decide to stay at home when they committed to a party.  Do you think there is anyway you can stay at someone’s house…it’s for free, so no major excuse!

Also, talk to your Maid/Matron of Honor and let her know what you’re feeling.  See if you can get a gauge of how everyone is feeling.  It may all be in your head!

@coffeegal85:  I feel you.  I understand how people who don’t drink can have fun when they hang out in a group of people.  But if these are people who are normally drinkers, then yes, I can see them being “less fun” because they’re DDing.

That’s so lame that people aren’t staying over when it’s so super cheap!  Just make the very best of it, and be thankful for your ladies who are spending the night!  I’m sure you’ll have a great time 🙂

I had two girls at my bach that didn’t want to stay in the hotel because they just preferred their own beds, so I get that some people do that.  They spent a ton on a cab to get home so they could join in on the debauchery 😉

That actually sounds like a lot of fun!  Your 3 bridesmaids are the people closest to you, right?  So you’ll have a blast even if it is just them, but it sounds like a bunch more will be there for at least part of the night.  I agree with the PPs – just try to think of the positives!  This is a party, not something for you to stress or worry about 🙂
