I was just in a wedding which had the same sort of bachelorette party – some (not all) of the bridesmaids stayed in the hotel, while other friends, relations, etc., went hom after a few drinks. It was still super fun because there were still 4 of us who were staying the whole time and having fun, and the others had fun, too, but had to leave because of work/children/etc. So if you focus on the people who are staying, you have enough people for a good party! Anything on top of that is just icing on the cake! Get a bottle of wine and some entertainment options into your hotel room when you check in, and worst case scenario, you and your bridesmaids go back to the room after the bars and hang out!

I have to be at work at 8 am the day after my bachelorette party for a 12 hour shift. I’ll probably be the least debaucherous at my party, but I’m just looking forward to seeing my girls again. I live in a different city than most of my closest friends, so I’m super excited. We are just doing dinner, and I’ll probably be home by 10 pm, there will probably be very little alcohol, and I am hoping not too many penis favor ๐Ÿ˜‰ but it’s all in your attitude. You can’t force people to do anything, nobody is holding a gun to these people’s heads and saying go to the party. Just enjoy it and have fun.

Just because the numbers are small and not everyone is drinking as much doesnt mean it wont be fun! It will be as fun as you allow it to be! Your sister is probably frustrated cuz she went to the trouble of plannning what she thought would be fun and its frusrating when not everyone comes through. I had 5 at mine and it was a blast! maybe not what i always invisioned but it was fun! remember the people that arent staying may have other obligations for saturday morning or just want to sleep next to their SO that night, nothing wrong with that. Atleast their coming to celebrate and youll get some gifts out of it ๐Ÿ˜‰ You only get married once so take advantage of the opportunity so you dont look back someday and have to say no i didnt have one cuz my attitude wasnt the best and i felt like everyone was obligated to be there! they wouldnt come if they didnt want to and no one has to do anything( your cousins have proly not listened to everything you aunt has said)! Just relax and try and enjoy it! ๐Ÿ™‚

Try to keep a positive attitude.  I was pretty frustrated at mine and I definitely didn’t make it anymore fun for myself by being that way.

@coffeegal85:  “I would rather people just not come then come and be bored. “

There are many many times that I chose not to drink while going out and I can assure you, that doesn’t mean I am bored.
