Here is my beautiful ring! The most meaningful piece of jewellery I will ever own. Alot of thought was put into this ring. My fiancé and I designed it together and it is tanzanite the gemstone of our engagement and our potential month of our marriage. December!
I have very traditional ppl in my life and I think it was a shock that we didn’t choose diamond and I have been getting slack for it. But I know this ring is perfect for us.

andrea100: my engagement ring is also a tanzanite. I didn’t pick tanzanite for sentimental reasons but I just loved the ring and fell in love with the way the stone changes colour.
Ive had a few comments asking what it is, is it really an engagement ring and they’d prefer a more traditional diamond but that will always happen. Even my best friend when I was describing my ring on the phone to her said ‘it does have some diamonds though, right?’ (Like yours I have some small diamonds along the band). Nobody else has to like it other than you (your partner is a bonus) and that’s the main thing. Congratulations on your engagement and good luck with the planing.

andrea100: lovely ring!! Its all about you and your husband not your family and what they think about it. Don’t let that be an issue for you in the future.

andrea100: gorgeous ring! Love the colour. Just be careful with it. I also have a tanzanite for my engagement ring and it’s chipped more than once. It is definitely a softer stone. Now that I’m married I don’t wear it, just my wedding band alone.

thank you, yes I am very careful with it. I find myself checking it often to make sure it hasn’t chip. it has been good so far.
