Let’s create a thread of positive things about our bodies- things your body has helped you achieve, something you love about your body, accomplishments you’ve made for a better body.
I’ll go first: Went to my 3rd alterations appointment last week and was talking to the lady about being a runner and she said..and I quote…”did running help you get arms like that? they’re so toned!”
I seriously think I heard angels sing- all the sweat and hard work has paid off and it’s only motivating me to continue!!

When I started dating my husband, I was a size 16. When I bought my wedding dress, it was a size 10. I didn’t need any alterations. I got to tell my husband he married “a perfect 10!”

I like it when people say my baby bump looks big because I haven’t gained weight anywhere else :0)

When I’m in boxing class, I get to watch all the newbies’ jaws drop when they see me hit! Thank you, shoulders, for being awesome!

My hair has natural highlights and lowlights that most people pay out the nose for! Woot woot!
Even though there are certain things I like to nitpick, I’m going on record to say I am incredibly grateful for such a simple blessing as health! That’s one we can’t take for granted! 🙂

Krav Maga has helped my back and arms get ripped. It’s both gross and awesome. I definitely look at them in the mirror often.
And I really like my new workout pants because they highlight my now-muscular legs. 🙂

@CarolF: +1 People are always amazed that my hair is all natural.
I’m really proud of myself for hitting my all-time high calorie burn on the elliptical this week! Back at it tonight!

My body is so strong. I love that. I can lift anything, walk to the ends of the earth, whatever. I’m always the last one to get tired.

My naturally 23 inch waist! I love how little it is and how curvy it makes me look. I’m 5’0″ so it’s not crazy and I worked really hard to get these abs! My little waist and big butt make me look like a classic pin up, and my SO and myself love it!

@Ittybittymonster: 23 1/2!!! I have recently started to love that about myself! Worked really hard for it and it is awesome in a tight fitting dress!
I also love my collarbones is that weird?

@minipenguin: I love it 98% of the time, unless theres a shirt or a dress that I love that is too big! (I’m a little flat chested too so that doesn’t help!) But it’s an amazing thing to have, and we deserve to be proud of our hard work! Oh and on the collarbones, I’m a little obsessed with mine too!

My body may not be super thin or very chiseled with muscles, but my curvy body gives me character. I always have been and always will be a little bit fat, to quote Bridget Jones’ Diary. Its me, its who I am, and I love it!

BOOBS. I’m a petite lady, but somehow, I ended up with D cups in my late 20s??? thanks, grandma! Also, I have big hips and I do really enjoy being curvy.
I have great hair, too. Pretty natural auburn color with natural highlights and lowlights, thick, shiny, awesome.
