As far as I know, there are no photos of either of my grandparents on their wedding day and none of my parents.

My Fiance, however, has photos of his parents and, I think, grandparents.

I wish I had some of my paternal grandmother, I’ve seen photos of her and she was really pretty.  My mom has a photo of her dad (who died when my mom was two or three) and he was really handsome.  (No question why my grandmother fell for him, at all!!! LOL!)

Wow I love this thread! I love all of the pics from the 40’s and 50’s. I’m going to have to dig up some photos from my mom’s first marriage. My parents were married in the 80’s and my mom wanted a rainbow theme. I love modern weddings with rainbow themes, but my mom’s wedding looked a bit odd… Each of the girls looked like a pastel little miss muffet!

I love this pic of my parents on their wedding day. They met on Christmas Day, when my Dad was on vacation visiting his out of state cousin. My Dad promptly quit his teaching job, that he had been at for 10 years and stayed in town. He proposed on Valentines Day, and they were married in June . Despite their whirlwind courtship, they were married nearly 35 years. My Dad passed away about a month before their 35th wedding anniversary. They were the best example of true love I have ever seen.

PS-My Mama made that cake! Love the milk can cake stand. They were rocking the rustic wedding theme way before it was the big thing!

@CrispyRN: Uh-mazing – matching pants!  That rules my world!

Have you seen the accidental asian hipsters blog? I think it’s a necessity for American children of Asian parents to peruse – it blows my mind!

P.S. Your mom is beautiful!
