That’s so tough! I love them both for different reasons. If I had to pick, I’d go with the second one because some people who have vision problems may have difficulty reading the text in the first one because of the busy background (I work in publishing; you learn to watch for these things). But it’s not really much of a problem at all, so I wouldn’t let it decide the issue for you.

    What an awesome idea!

I really like the second one; it’s less “busy” and makes it easier to focus on the text. IMO, it also looks more professionally done; the other one looks like you made it on your computer.

Love the second one!  I love how you incorporate the colors and the leaves!

The second one’s definitely easier to read and looks a bit more invitation-like, but I would align the text with the right edge or block it slightly differently so you don’t have it almost running into the leaves by the last paragraph.

I almost squealed with delight when I read the Portuguese, by the way. I started learning it when I was in university and it’s such a gorgeous language.

I like the first one.  I think the leaves are too like a child drew them on the 2nd.

I voted for the first one, though if I could I’d vote for a combo of the two.  I really like the design of the first one, and I like the “fancier” (for lack of a better word) font on the second.  Is there any way you can change the font a bit on the top?  Have one that has the little lines on it?  (Sorry not the way to describe it…but like, Times Roman vs. Arial).

I think the design of the first one is really great, and if the font changed, it would look even better and a bit more formal.

I like the second one best.

I’d like it more if the save the date at the top was maybe a bit bigger then the rest of the font.

I like the 2nd one, less busy easier to read and better font. I would align your text to the right. Also, increase the font size (and maybe bold) for the Heading. Also, bold the date so it’s easier to read when it’s posted on a fridge.

Also, do you have your names on there? As in Alice and Bob are getting married on…
