My biological mother gave me her wedding band when I was like 13. Last week a lady wanted to look at the house I was moving out of. I thought I had everything of value packed up in the living room, so I let the lady look at my room without me being there. After she left, I realized my jewelry bag was still in there & I looked thru it real quick & didn’t notice anything missing. Fast forward to today & I can’t find the ring my bio-mother gave me anywhere in that bag, however 1 other gold ring is still there. Its possible I accidentally packed it in a different box where another one of jewelry boxes are & idk where that would be right now. Its unlikely that I put it in a different box, but it is possible & & that’s the only other place it could be at.
The ring doesn’t have a ton of centimental value, but it means something. My bio-mother hasn’t ever been a “mom” to me & I only lived with her 1 year out of my life but I don’t hate her. However, the ring means (to me at least) that my bio-parents loved each other at some point even thou they divorced when I was a baby.
Nothing else is missing. I’m just so frustrated that the lady MIGHT have stolen it while I wasn’t looking. I’m having a very hard time thinking she could’ve taken it, but no one else was there but her.
