I had a horrible case of blackheads on my nose. Literally, every pore (which my pores are large anyway) had a blackhead. And I couldn’t do anything to git rid of the ugly things.
Well, about a year ago, I bought the Clean ‘n’ Clear Blackhead Eraser. It’s a little vibrating thing, and it has these medicated scrubby pads that you put on the top. Well, I had tried it before, and the skin felt clean, but all those little black dots were still staring back at me in the mirror. 🙁
Yesterday I went to the eye doctor. I had this weird little lump on my left eyelid that I was concerned about. The eye doctor told me that the bump was just a swolled clogged tear duct. He said they happen a lot when it’s 145 degrees outside, LOL! Anyway, he said to get rid of it, just take a hot wet washcloth, as hot as I could stand it, and massage the lump to make the fluid (just tears) drain. The lump did go down, though I didn’t really notice any draining.
Long story short, I had the hot washcloth, and I figured I’d try something with those stupid blackheads again. HEAT is the key; I don’t know why I never tried it before! So I got the washcloth as hot as I could stand it again, and pressed it onto my nose for a couple minutes. (It feels SOO good at the end of the day!) Then I got the Blackhead Eraser again, and buffed the little buggers out. After wiping the soap off, I still noticed some blackheads. So I squeezed them out; by this time they were REALLY loose. Then I repeated the washcloth and buffing, but this time I let the soap sit for a minute before wiping it off. Then I shocked my skin with a splash of cold water to close the pores.
Next morning, and voila!! VERY few blackheads, just a few in those hard to reach places around the sides of my nose! PRAISE GOD! They’re gone! I’ll be doing this again! Like I said, the key is heat, and the vibrating of the Blackhead Eraser. I don’t even think you’d have to have THE Blackhead Eraser (I got mine marked WAY down, so I didn’t pay the 20 bucks they want for it). Just something that can fit in the palm of your hand and vibrates, and something with a scrubby, and your regular face wash. The medicated pads for the Eraser have 1% salycilic acid.
I hope it works for someone else like it worked for me! Sorry for the long post, but I just HAD to tell y’all!
