I desperately wanted a casual, cotton/linen, comfortable, boho wedding dress (I eloped by hiking a pretty intense mountain), but my search was HORRIBLE. It was so difficult to find something that fits that description without resorting to wading through generic maxi dresses to everyone’s frustrations. I finally found this amazing Spell and the Gypsy Collective dress from their new-ish and small wedding collection which is full of boho fabulous, non traditional dresses (that also didnt break the bank)! I havent seen anyone else with a Spell dress, and finding inspo boards with their dresses once I found the company were very few and far between, so here’s my Spell Elizabeth dress here : )
They shipped quick and alterations at my local tailor cost $110, although if you’re tall you probably wont need alterations. Dress fit is very forgiving and adjustable. Accurate sizing. I paired it with a piece of heavy lace that matched the color of the dress’ lace detailing as a wrap.

THANK YOU! I was SO pumped for those boots! We got married in the Adirondacks where I spent my summers as a kid. At the end of every summer, Id pick up a pair of moccasins from this little tourist shop for the year and I wanted to incorporate that weird tradition into our ceremony, but obviously at bridal level! So I started searching around for embroidered mukluks and moccasins and finally found a pair of Storyboot by Manitoba Mukluk moccasins in my size at a shop in YellowKnife, NWT, Canada. It was meant to be and I was over the moon when I put it all together!

Thanks for all the compliments, guys! Im so happy I can finally share some pictures of my crazy, awesome elopement! Bonus on this dress: its pretty wrinkle proof! So after tying it up around my waist and hiking a mountain, it still fell nicely!

Hi leabeeah! I am in LOVE with Spell’s bridal gowns. I’m based in New Jersey and am having trouble finding any bridal salon that carries the styles I like. I may want to buy a few gowns from Spell and return ones I don’t like, but I’m concerned about shipping.
How was the delivery/shipping from Australia? Did you find any of their dresses in US stores?

hey there! Sorry for the late response (havent been around in awhile!)
I wound up finding Spell after I wanted a comfortable, airy, casual, boho dress and discovering 99.9% of all wedding dresses and basically 100% of bridal salon selections are tight, heavy, layered, and structured. I also visited some salons and browsed dozens online and came up empty before accidentally finding Spell’s bridal line while browsing their normal clothes.
I loved my experience with them! The shipping was very fast and depending on what sizes and styles are in stock you can order from the warehouse in the USA or Australia. I think my dress actually was from Australia but it seriously took about a week to get here which amazed me! I can only imagine it would be faster shipping from the US. I have never ever seen one of their dresses in a store- their normal clothing line is barely sold anywhere outside of ther website and store. I remember I found a salon that had a similar casual boho dress from Bo and Luca but the price was triple a Spell dress so I passed on even trying it on.
Have you had any luck?
