Because they are all made out of paper!!!
I just finished all of it besides the bouts and just had to share. I have been making origami irises since I was in high school (usually from class notes) and knew I wanted to make my own flowers. Besides for it being a one of a kind touch it saved me a TON of $$$. Since I wanted blue flowers (which barely occur naturally, so sad) I figured going all the way fake would be the way to go.
Over 120 flowers, all made by me. Hope you like them! Mine is the largest, all blue flowered bouquet and the toss bouquet is the one with all the green (made with the reject flowers, haha). The bridesmaid ones are smaller and include some white flowers, the Maid/Matron of Honor bouquet is slightly larger.

Those are awesome!!! And paper flowers are such a great and budget-friendly alternative. I’m working on crepe paper roses for my bouquets as we speak. 🙂

@swimcat14: So jealous. I suck at origami and I was hoping to be able to make some of those for the wedding. They look beautiful.

@swimcat14: Those are amazing! Would you ever consider making them to sell? I’d totally buy some. I’m not crafty at all.

I would make the wrapped/stem parts a little thinner, but other than that I think these are AMAZING. Even if you just used them as-is, people will be really impressed by them.

Super pretty! I love kusudamas and I adore all of the different shades of blue for the bouquet! They look very professional and lovely!
I made paper flowers as well, but definitely with a different style.
