They look great, and we’re bouquet twins!  I just finished all of my origami flower bouquets in shades of blue!

These are absolutely beautiful! You are among the most talented I have seen. If you were up to it, I’d love to pay you to make mine once my day comes! (its a while from now… still waiting!) πŸ™‚

You should definitely upload pictures of the bouts. I am having a difficult time planning mine out. I’m only like 5 flowers in so I have a bunch of work ahead of me. I also am doing them in front of the tv. πŸ™‚

Does anyone know where I can find a tutorial on these?

Thanks πŸ™‚

Some people are just too talented. UGH. this makes me sick.  I TRIED doing ribbon flowers and burned myself with a glue gun. So I ended up just paying some girl on etsy to do it for me. Ha.

You did a really awesome job. Super creative and well-done. πŸ™‚

Teach me your ways… they are so beautifully folded. I like the grassy bit on the throw bouquet, too!

@jujee:  Thank you! I pulled inspiration from a few places, but this bouquet is the one that really made me want to do it:

I used the small flowers you see in this bouquet as my little flowers. I also have 4 and 5 petal kusudamas in varying sizes as well as the sunken omuta rose. So it’s 4 different flower types, lots of different kinds of paper, and put together with some dried bleach white baby’s breath.

I just posted a board yesterday about this, guess I should have looked first

I was thinking about doing a brooch bouquet but want to mix it with flowers. I have seen a few bouquets made out of paper flowers and love them. My Fiance & I are big into music and he plays the piano. I was thinking of taking some sheet music he doesn’t use anymore or buying some cheap and making the flowers.

I have read that the downfall with the paper flowers is that they can fall apart during the wedding. Did anything drastic happen to your paper flowers?
