Hold up. Y’all have commitment jewelry and yet he’s only just now saying he’s going to make sure everyone knows you’re his girlfriend?

THAT is a red flag.

These things happen. And when they do, it signifies the downhill slide of a once happy relationship.

You aren’t engaged, if you are not living together, better yet. Just read the handwriting on the wall and  mentally prepare for the end, whether he calls it or you do.

There doesn’t have to be fighting, screaming, throwing things, or telling friends the whole gory story. Unless you have one friend you want to confide in, it isn’t any of their business.

It doesn’t matter what he tells you, he’s going to say whatever he thinks will convince you to stay. Words are meaningless without the actions to back them up. He has already shown you what he’s capable of, it’s up to you to excuse it or not. Personally, I don’t understand why people allow someone they’re dating to mistreat them (I don’t agree with mistreatment period, but especially while dating because that’s when you should be weeding people out). Also, it’s much easier to dump a boyfriend/girlfriend than it is to get a divorce, so it’s best to cut your losses early.

confusedgirl3008 :  gross. I had an ex so that to me once.. cheat on me and then “forbid me” from telling anyone.

dump him, and screw his self centered demand. you deserve to have your friends rally and help you get through this. he doesnt. tell anyone you want.

oh, and if you believe it was just kissing, you’re kidding yourself.
