So I thought I had THE ones twice already now for shoes…it’s kind of ironic that I purchased the first wedding dress I ever tried on without 2nd guessing myself at all, and I must have ordered and returned at least a dozen different pairs of shoes by now. I purchased and returned at least 2 rounds of shoes from various places before this last round where all 3 of my shoe choices were “the one” but kept getting replaced by the shoe that arrived after.
My FIRST YES to the shoe moment was over some adorably detailed/vintage looking mint/grey shoes. I had some doubts about the mint undertone and the comfort but otherwise LOVED them. Then a pair of practical but colorful shoes arrived…and they were so comfy and such a nice pop of color (and cheaper) so once again I had THE ONES. That was it…or so I thought, I completely forgot I ordered the pair shown below. They caught my eye early on but I didn’t order them because I wasn’t sure I wanted anything 3+ inches. They match the bridesmaids dresses and my clutch perfectly, they’re the cheapest pair (at $95), and they have that lovely vintage feel that I fell in love with on the first pair.
So here we are, my bridal shoes! The height is still a slight concern for me (although they’re quite comfy). So I’ll wear them to my dance lessons next week to test them out! I’m going to hold onto pair #2 just in case (since I bought pair #2 from Nordstrom I have an unlimited amount of time to return them). But I can say with 100% confidence the aspect of the wedding that I’ve been THE MOST indecisive about are the shoes!
