Wow, that looks amazing! Love the gold heart stickers. I actually just finished my bridesmaid shopping yesterday ๐Ÿ˜€

I have two bridesmaids, so they’re each getting a robe and bracelet:

And since those are both for the wedding (although I’m pretty sure they’ll use them after), I got them each a fold-over clutch, in colours I think they’ll both like:

And of course, a heartfelt card ๐Ÿ™‚

If the clutch and the jewelry is to be worn for your weddimg then you might want to add a truly personal gift to thank them for being them. Everything else is centered on your wedding and their gifts should fully be about them.

luxelove:  We got ours personal gifts, so:

Maid/Matron of Honor: Nike trainers and Lego:

Bridesmaid 1:

Australian kiwi green opal and 14ct gold stud earrings (to represent her new life in Australia) and a 10ct yellow gold love knot ring (I have a matching one) to represent her life in the UK and our friendship:

Bridesmaid 2:

A yellow gold, pearl and diamond necklace, and yellow gold and pearl stud earrings (she likes simple, classic jewellery, and loves pearls):

Bridesmaid 3:

A 2mm wide yellow gold ring (she’s wanted one for AGES):

Junior bridesmaid:

Silver, pearl and CZ necklace, and white gold and CZ stud earrings (we wanted to get her something she could keep, and she loved her ‘grown-up’ jewellery):

We also made bridesmaid robes for the adult bridesmaids, though didn’t count them as a gift as they were more a prop. We also paid for their dresses (as is customary in the UK).

Your gifts sounds lovely, but I do agree with the PP who said a lot of the gifts sound more like props for your wedding, and not very personal. I think it would be nice to add something truly personal to each girl. It doesn’t have to be expensive, it could be a bottle of their favourite wine/liquor, or their favrouite candy, but I think it’s nice to have a personal touch.

dancindavinci:  Thanks! If you’re Canadian, they’re from Chapters….even though its a bookstore, they are starting to have so many cute accesories and household items, I always find such cute things there.

luxelove:  We don’t have showers in the UK.

My advice would be to get them something you would get them for their birthday, or for Christmas. I doubt many people would buy their friends identical birthday presents, so I approached the thank-you gifts in the same way.

It doesn’t have to be anything extravagent, as you’ve already spent a lot; it could be their favourite food/drink (eg one of mine loves Jack Daniels, another loves this particular brand of Sauvignon Blanc, another loves Malibu, etc; food-wise one LOVES dark chocolate (the higher the cocoa content the better), another Mexican food, and so on), or a gift card/voucher for somewhere they love (eg favourite restaurant, or favourite beauty salon). Or, their favourite make-up/hair product/brand of nail-polish. Etc. There are literally loads of things you could get for them that needn’t cost the earth, nor do they have to match (eg you could get one a food item, one a drink, one a voucher; you don’t have to stick with the same ‘theme’). You could even do a personal CD/playlist for each girl with songs that remind you of her, or, if you were childhood friends buy something that is a reference to taht (eg the Barbie or My Little Pony you both always wanted).

Basically, just think of them as individuals and you can’t go wrong; I think it will just be really appreciated by them if you shown you’ve thought of each of them as individuals and bought them something that is personal to them.

luxelove:  Wow, personally I think you’ve bought a lot for each bridesmaid. I hope they love it!
