So, I’m sure a million brides have thought of this before, but I was pretty pleased with myself… so I’m going to share. Might help one or two of you out!
A while back, I saw that you can buy Pantone sets for $6 with color samples. The idea is that you can send them to your bridesmaids in distant places, give them to your planner, your florist, etc. to facilitate making everything matchy-matchy for the wedding.
Well, yesterday I was in Lowe’s, and as I was going past the paint samples, it clicked! I walked over and picked out the colors for my palette! I don’t have ton of vendors or bridesmaids to share them with, but I did give a set to Fiance, so that he can keep them on hand if he finds great thrift store deals on crafty things (and when he goes shopping for his suit!).
Basically, it’s a totally free way to have a portable reference guide to see if soemthing will go with your pallette when you’re out and about and find the perfect ribbon on sale, a good deal on craft paper, etc.
