So I used a syrofoam ball as the base for my bouquet, painted it blue and added the brooches. What do you think? Are the brooches spaced too far apart? I like seeing the blue but wondering if it is too much blue

Great job!!! I would prefer to see less blue but really, it looks great!

I think it looks great! I wouldn’t like seeing the ball if it was the plain white, but since you painted it blue I think it could work! Awesome job!

Gorgeous! I actually really like the blue.

I love what you’ve done so far, but I think you should try adding some fillers in to help cover up most of the blue. It may not look great in professional photos.

Wow! It looks good! I wish I had that kind of patience and talent.:/

Looks good… but could look a bit better with more fillers

Thanks everyone for the comments. I worked on it more last night and put about 5 more brooches and moved things around. I will post pictures once I take pictures

Did you say you were also using book pages to make flowers? thses flowers are super easy to make http://www.craftstylish.com/item/7515/how-to-make-simple-white-paper-flowers/page/all# and you can use a fuex pearl bead and a pin to put them into your form as fillers. They’re my quick fix on flower crafting right now.

I like the blue, however I think it needs some more depth, as it may look a little empty in photos.
Something simple like tissue paper may work just to give it a little more volume.
