ok here is my little budget for my super fantastic wedding!
my ring =1200 paid
his ring = 25 paid
my dress =258 paid
flowers = 200
venue = 100
my mans suit = 50
my girls dress = 60
our wedding cake= 48
our reception at a our favorite resturant for 17 ppl = 300
that sums it up for now. but i think we are doing pretty good. rings and dress is already paid this year next year just simple things. i am not doing party favors and photos are free.
our wedding will be under 1000. the flowers my be alittle more but not much.
Have any of bees had a really small inexpensive wedding?

@nafarey7: Don’t forget about the cost of an officiant and the marriage license. It’s great that you can have a fantastic wedding without breaking the bank!

I wish I had such inexpensive services where I live (florist, baker) you’re so lucky ! We decided to cut them off from our list because it was unaffordable for us. 1000 is like a dream budget for me !
Other things you might want to consider : hair and make-up, manucure (if you want any?), accessories and shoes if you don’t already own them.

@chic_and_fabulous: yep we are having the civil war ppl play the trumpet that is cost of venue. lol and i know hair and makeup my mom is a beutician so she will do something easy and simple.

@NauticalDisaster: yep i have thought of that it wont be expensive cause it will be a simple i dont want alot of stuff in my hair. make up i haven’t decided. so ok just add extra 300 bucks for little of this and that lol

Music, if you use an Ipod or something like that, I don,t know if it’s the same in Maine but here in Québec we have to pay ”SOCAN” fees, which are basically ”copyright” fees to be able to play the music at an event. It’s not that expensive though (around 50$ for the whole event), but it’s a bit frustrating to learn about that kind of details when the budget is finally done, hehe !
