And I can’t settle. I’ve booked the day off so I can sit by the phone and wait. Anaesthesia can accidentally kill rabbits 3-4% of the time – so I’m just sitting here panicking, trying not to cry. They’re going to call within the next couple of hours and tell me how it went, but he hates the vet so much that I’m so guilty for not being there with him.
I guess I just need some happy pet stories or something to cheer me up. Any bees want to share with me stories of their furry friend?

This is my little dude. I had a scare recently because he wasn’t pooping (and I’m sure you know how much they poop!). Figured it was a hairball, must have been a big one, because it took a bit to clear. But he is back to being a poop machine.

I have a funny story about bunnies (sort of)!
I used to be a preschool teacher, and during the summer, we would have petting zoos come in twice a month. Some were your standard kitties/puppies/duckings, and some were more exotic (turtles, roaches (really), skunk)
One of them brought in a chinchilla, and the biggest bully in my class immediately started SOBBING. I picked him up and gave him a hug and said “(His name), What’s WRONG?”
And through his tears, he managed to say “Bunny… EARS. Bunny hurt? Bunny NO EARS!”
