Just made a few of these lil guys last night. took about and hour and a half to make approx 30… slow moving.
i cant tell if i think they look cheap or not. i mean they were, but i dont want them to look it…
the front says “all you need is love” in silver ink (found a cute stamp at michaels) and the back i printed our names and wedding date in black on our printer. both are on white cardstock then glued to silver paper that i glued around a small wooden dowel (from michaels).
any suggestions to “spruce them up” (and i cant add beads to the top bc i tried, and they dont stay bc the dowel doesnt have a pointed end like a toothpick to set the bead onto while the glue dries, the beads kept falling off, and im not willing to hold each indivudual one for five minutes while they dry). diff colored ink for our names? diff ink for the stamp? diff colored flags? keep them uniform and classic?

They do look great! Add beads is so easy, you can do it!! Here are some I made for a bridal shower:
Just put a small drop of glue (I used Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive) in the middle of the bead, push it onto the pick, and then use kitchen shear or small plier or channel lock (tool that cuts) and cut the pointed end off.
I also did some for a birthday with small pearls (I forgot to take pictures…boo!) and they too looked awesome. Such a nice way to give these little flags a finished look with little effort.
