I just typed up a huge post, and then lost it, so here is the short version!
I baked an Easter cake for my family, and it was my first time using buttercream/fondant. TONS of stuff went wrong during the process, but I learned a lot. Overall, the cake TASTED awesome, so I’m hoping with a year more practice I’ll be able to make a simple wedding cake for myself 🙂
I finished the cake a full 48 hours before serving, and it tasted great. My aunt lent me her wedding topper for the Easter cake. THe actual cake will be white/pink vs. peach/yellow! Its not going to be tiered, but rather 3 seperate tiers put on different height cake stands.
