I am an itty bitty human, but my calves and ankles are huge. Like my calves are 16” around.

The only boots that I have ever been able to find to fit me so far are Tender Tootsies, Camela. I’m wearing them right now actually. They’re quite comfy!

Good luck!

I have the same issue. I think my calves are pretty average, not huge but not small, and sometimes I can’t find any tall boots that don’t cut off the circulation in my legs.

My ankles are 8″ and my calves are 14.5″, they are a tiny bit bigger now because I’ve been running for a few months, but I’ve had this problem forever. But then there are some boots that literally fall down because they are so big.. Is really Weird.

I feel you!

@Ninteenthchance:  Right here! It is incredibly annoying. I did get a pair of wide-leg non-slouchy boots at LL Bean and they fit quite nicely. I’m about a 16″ circumference too.

I hate boot shopping.

@Ninteenthchance:  Mine are a tight squeeze, and usually won’t fit properly until I break them in. Sometimes I have to stretch them for weekend before putting them on for the first time. I have lean legs, but they are super muscular dancer’s legs. I just have to shop around… A lot. I wish there was a better solution. : (

Me too! I’m a size 6, but I go to department stores to find boots only to fins they strangle my calf. Although I did see “wide calf” boots this year at Macy’s.

My favorite boot to wear though are the Frye Paige tall riding boots. I have about an inch of space left in my calf and they arent too tall on me, I’m 5’2″
