You can’t find the stone or the prong?  It’s going to be okay!  You know it’s somewhere around there.  Just take a few deep breaths and try looking again.

Ok breathe! lol I have done that before!

I have an idea….turn out the lights and get a flashlight and if you can turn it dim….and see if something twinkle/sparkle back at you…that’s how I found the last diamond that I thought I lost..lol

@Petulalula:  My first response is, KEEP CRAWLING!! My second one is to sweep slowly and gently and see if it ends up in the pile. And go barefoot in that room.

Okay!! This worked for me, get a pair of panty hose put them double up on vacume wand and then use it! Anything that might be on ground will collect in the panty hose instead of going into the vaccume! Keep searching

I think it’s time to start moving any appliances you can. First block off any heating vents and the sink drain, just to be safe. If it went down one of those you are going to need help getting it back, if at all.

Try to stay calm, it’s not your fault the prong broke. Good luck!

Don’t panic, it’s there I promise!  There isn’t a portal to another dimension in the floor….very carefully move all of the furniture and items out of the way, lay all the way down on your stomach, put your cheek on the floor and slowly, like you have all the time in the world peruse the floor…keep telling yourself it’s there, all you have to do is find it.
