I placed the setting and stone in an envelope and sealed it and then put it in a plastic baggie. This stone is never escaping again! lol 🙂 thanks guys 🙂

It is huge, at first I thoght it was too big, but now I love it amd am used to it. I was never a jewelry person, so it was hard to get used to for a while but now its my best friend haha.

thank goodness you found it! I would suggest changing to sturdier prongs (double prongs at each corner, maybe?) and platinum if they aren’t platinum already.
The prong probably just wore away due to age but if I were you I’d want that baby locked in and secure!

Its white gold, so it probaby did wear thin. They catch on my clothes constantly, so I do think replaing them with platinum would be a good idea. I thought I heard the stone jiggling like it was loose, but I didnt feel any moement when i pushed/prodded it so I assumed it was just my ears. Guess not
