I love it but I’d make sure with your venue that you’re allowed to use sand… I feel like that is something they might not be cool with bc it could be messy 🙂

Maybe the sand could be used in a  low flat container with side walls to keep the sand in the container and not on the table.

My color is lilac too! thats beautiful.. I agree about the sand though. Some places can be really strict about stuff like that!

Also the candles – some places won’t let you use open flames.  You could get closed lanterns though and use LEDs to give some of the same effect.

My venue was not cool with loose sand so I found this inspiration picture with a “sandbox.” Then this is what I came up with.

Very awesome!  Like it alot.  My friend got married on the beach and had their venue in a tent.  They had these aweome sand ceremony candles.  I think they got them from an online store.  Let me see if I can download a pic from http://www.bridesvillage.com
