Omgosh omgosh omgosh- I love it. Seriously, this is one of my favorites because of the books. If I were in your shoes though, I’d skip the flowers and just add a candle to the vase. Because of the fractured glass, it will make a really pretty pattern on the table. Set with your table numbers- magnifique!

Don’t ask me why I said magnifique- it just came out. That’s how excited I was.

Well then- I think you’re on a good course. If you really want the flowers and think they will go well than get them πŸ™‚ Otherwise, I suggest not adding anything- you chose well.

I would add candles somewhere around the base of the centerpieces!

I think you should add candles, not flowers. And please – please – don’t add any crystals or scatter. It’s SO sophisticated and lovely as is!

They are gorgeous! If you have a Hobby Lobby in your area you can try looking there as well for these. I saw some gold ones the other day and every now and then they have all of their glass on sale for 50%! Have you thought of putting a couple stems of hydrangeas in them? They are super cheap, very full, and look gorgeous!

Here is a rough mock up of ours. We will also be having 3 candles of varying heights and 3 votive candles surrounding them with chocolate table cloths πŸ™‚ (sorry for such a huge picture!!)

@GreenGables:  I totally understand! I was going to do just floating candles, but I ordered those vases online for a phenomenal price (Original price is $75/vase and I got 12 of them for a total of $100 including shipping and taxes!) but didn’t notice all of the frosting that was on there. Thankfully my florist had a great idea to put the hyndrangeas in there and is only charging me like $9/vase to fill them πŸ™‚

I absolutley LOVE your book idea though!! It seems so incredibly romantic and will look awesome with candle light πŸ™‚

A few votives around the books would look great and fill out the space as well, love it!
