I used to be a fan a few years ago.. then I saw them “live” in concert. Ugh.. worst experience ever.

@MissHoneyBun: The concert was awful. I was a junior in college and took my brother who I believe was 16 (2005ish- I think Helena was just picking up some speed). We showed up at the venue, a college arena, and wait 2 hours for them to even play (not sure if this is normal). The acts before them were really terrible. When My chemical romance finally hit the stage Gerard didn’t even really sing. He would start to sing, realize he was totally off key, and then put his mic to the crowd and tell them to sing.  He would then cuss, tell the crowd “say hello to my f*ing grandma,” etc..

 It was pretty bad- We left halfway through their set because it was so bad.
