Ivory, because it feels like a warmer white than the background. I think pure white generally has a cooler tone.

Well I think it kind of looks white to me. The sheer overlay on the skirt might look ivory on my display but overall, it looks white. I’m so curious to know what color you ordered it in!

Looks ivory or possibly diamond white but not white. Light can change the color of a dress dramatically… I freaked out when I went home after trying on my dress and looking at the photos. Mine looked ivory but it was supposed to be diamond white and I had to go back and take another photo in the other room to make sure it was white enough lol.

It looks like a diamond white- which is basically a very pale ivory (according to the sales lady where I bought my dress).  I think it’s really nice color.  Not too cool, not too warm.  Please don’t dye it!  Those things rarely turn out the way you expect….

@Crystal09:  I think adding the champagne layer would be fabulous!

It doesn’t look white to me, but it doesn’t exactly look ivory either.

It’s definitely not white.  I think if you saw it next to something that is a true white, you’d feel better. Would you want it to be two different colors if you added a layer of tulle on the bottom? Are you againt wearing white just because it’s your second wedding?  If so, why?  Just curious…

It definitely looks ivory to me.  I think white is kind of stark looking and this is toned down.

@Crystal09:  Most dresses look different in different lighting. My dress changes from champagne to blush to grey to ivory to white depending on the lighting (its technically called oyster). I think once you have it, it will be easier for you to tell that its ivory, and it will be flattering on you. If you want to add a champagne layer you can, but I think it will really change the color of the dress. I would wait until you have it to make any decisions.

Maybe it just looks white to you because of the color of the dress form?
