Have you looked into artificial petals? Michaels used to have some really nice ones.

Is this for the exit?  Or just for decor?

I assume you mean for a flower girl? There are lots of alternative ideas… my favorite are flower girl wands, but you can also have her carry a pomander or hand out flowers to guests at the ends of the aisles as she walks (iffy if your flower girl is very young). Just a few ideas; I’m sure other bees with have more!

Another cute idea is a “Here Comes the Bride” banner:

well if we are talking flower girls.  I like the pomander or my bff had “bell ringers.” they carried bells and said “the bride is coming” as they walked down the aisle.  I also like the idea of them carrying something fun like pinwheels in the wedding colors.

Are you in love with the idea of having someone sprinkle something down the aisle??  Because if not, I actually think it’s lovely without.  Petals can get so messy, and become easily bruised and crushed once stepped upon.  I think a clean aisle is beautiful, and leaves for focus on the bride and her dress!  And if you have a long train, just think of how the petals could drag and get stuck on your petticoat, train, tulle, etc.

I like the ideas posted above of the pomanders and such.  Cute and different, and less messy!! 🙂
